You can easily lose weight eating Panera. (It is my favourite sandwich shop!) Order your sandwiches on bread or baguettes rather than eating the foccaccia bread, as it has alot of oil in it. Order it without mayo, they have little packets of lowfat mayo in the condiment bar by the drinks. Ask for lowfat or fat free dressing for your salads. Stay away from the cream based soups (the tomato soup is lowfat and delicious)

It’s a type of simple carb. If you take it without sugar, use skim milk, and add some fresh fruits it can be ok, but on it’s own and how most people take it with sugar and full cream milk and a cuppa coffee, not so great.

Losing a LOT of weight as a vegan! Help?
Question by And That is Eternity…: Losing a LOT of weight as a vegan! Help?
So I’ve been a vegan for 9 months and I will continue to be a vegan for the rest of my life. At first I gained 3 pounds, then I lost about 5 and plateaued right there, which was good. My BMI was a healthy 18 (I’m 17 years old, so for my age anything above the bottom 4% is healthy).
HOWEVER, I started running three moths ago in prep for cross country. My weight stayed the same for a while, but once I got to running more intense workouts with my cross country team, I saw changes. I’ve lost 10 pounds in two weeks. I am 5’4” and I weigh 94 pounds now. My BMI is 16.2. I’m underweight.
I don’t look emaciated at all and I’ve just been eating when I’m hungry. Should I just keep eating healthy fats and carbs when I’m hungry or should I actively try to get in more foods? Should I just let the weight loss come and see when it stops? Help!
Thanks =)
Dinah- I didn’t say that… I think you misunderstood me. I said that for my age (children or teens) anything ABOVE the bottom 4% is considered healthy. I used to be above the bottom 4%, but now I’m BELOW it. so I’m underweight now.

You absolutely need to eat more often. You are obviously not eating enough calories to keep up your active lifestyle. Eat more often, drink vegan protein shakes, and try to snack every few hours.
