Hi I am a busy mom with a 22 month old. I need some cheap, quick meals to prepare. I am tired of the same old couple of things I make. We also eat a lot of ground beef (its cheap) and I am getting tired of it quickly, but hubby loves it! Any recipes or sites would be great Thanks

www.foodnetwork.com is my personal favorite – they have the largest variety of recipes.
Just broiling fish or chicken with a little olive oil and herbs is always nice…sided with wild rice…steam a veggie….very simple and so many options.
Pasta is another favorite of mine – saute up a bunch of veggies in some olive oil, garlic and herbs…toss over cooked pasta with some parmesan on top…yum.

I lost quite a weight when I was a pretty healthy weight anyway and my skin went from getting the odd spot now and again to completely clear. My body feels a lot more light (my stomach, etc) when I drank milk I always felt kinda sick and especially egg. I’ve just became a lot happier since I became vegan!

Probably about 3 cups or so. If you want less caffeine, pour boiling water over the tea leaves, swirl it around in the pot for about 45 seconds and pour the water off. Add more boiling water and let it brew. That’s what they do in Morocco. There is a good chapter about green tea in the book The Cortisol Connection, it raises your alpha brain waves and brings a relaxed alert state of mind. Really good to focus on working/studying and not be stressed out. Stress can caught an increase in cortisol levels which will cause weight gain, especially in the mid-section of the body. Also if you want the goodness of green tea, don’t drink the over processed bottled type. The processing removes all the good stuff, it is better to brew your own green tea,loose gunpowder green tea is a good choice, and much less expensive than bottled type or the individual tea bags.

I know that you don’t need a recipe to make a fruit salad, but I’m not very creative with fruit combinations. I’ve been making a salad with apples, bananas, strawberries, almonds, vanilla yogurt, and cinnamon. It’s good, but I’m getting a little tired of the combination. Does anyone have any combos that they really like? I’m really looking for healthy ideas that do not contain too much or any added sugar. Thanks in advance!

Just buy a lot of variety of fruits and combine different ones each day replacing yogurt for lemon juice and or sour cream if you use lemon juice add salt

Grilled Chicken breast with rocket leaves(rucola) pine nuts sundried tomatoes,sliced fresh mozarella some parmeggiano shavings and a splash of balsamic vinegar.

fruit muffins has a light flavor also as it is mainly fruit it doesn’t have much batter so wont sit too heavy around lunch time – they also don’t take long to make or cook so can cook them on the day or previous day.
